2nd Breakfast: Yes, it’s a Thing.

I am so glad I’m not alone in this!

65% percent of Americans think “2nd breakfast” should be considered a real meal.

If you’re not familiar with 2nd breakfast let me fill you in: 2nd breakfast is when you eat breakfast two times a morning.

I am a big believer in this!

Especially because I get up so early, I eat breakfast early.

We get off the air at 10 o’clock and I’m already hungry again!

I don’t exactly feel like eating lunch at 10 a.m. but I definitely feel like eating more breakfast!

Thus, 2nd breakfast was born.

The average American said they enjoy a “second breakfast” at least once a week. And 70% say they feel more energized after having a second breakfast.

Lately what I’ve been doing is I’ll eat something carb heaving to start- I’ve been on a big bagel kick recently. Then, come time for 2nd breakfast I eat something more protein based like eggs or something.

I didn’t realize I loved it so much but it’s a great way to bridge the gap between breakfast and lunch.
