Taylor Swift donates $50,000 to mother of five whose husband died of COVID-19

Taylor Swift has generously donated $50,000 to a mother of five children who was devastatingly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.  Swift and her mom Andrea donated the exact goal amount of a GoFundMe dedicated to Vickie Quarles, the mother of five daughters whose husband, Theodis Ray Quarles, died of COVID-19. Justin Bieber debuted his new song titled ‘Peaches’ during the latest NPR Tiny Desk (Home) concert. The 27-year-old performed the world premiere of his track from his upcoming album ‘Justice’, which is set for release today. BTS song ‘Dynamite’ becomes their first certified double platinum single

BTS’ hit song “Dynamite” is now certified double platinum. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced Wednesday that the K-pop group earned its first double platinum certification. A song is certified platinum in the U.S. after shifting at least one million equivalent units, which are composed of both sales and streams. Double platinum means the song has moved two million units or more. BTS has three songs with platinum status, “Boy with Luv” with Halsey,” “Idol” and “Mic Drop.” Read full article >>

Lil Nas X reveals release date for upcoming single “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)’

Lil Nas X’s long-awaited new single Montero (Call Me By Your Name) is arriving later this month. The rapper first teased the track in July 2020 with a 38-second snippet, which includes lyrics such as, “Call me when you want, call me when you need, call me in the morning, I’ll be on the way.”  Lil Nas confirmed the single will officially drop on March 26th. Yungblud Recruits Machine Gun Kelly, Avril Lavigne for YouTube Benefit Livestream

Yungblud recruited Tommy Lee, Machine Gun Kelly, Dave Navarro, Avril Lavigne, and more for The Yungblud Show Live, which was livestreamed on Thursday, March 11th as part of YouTube’s Music Nights series. The performance benefits the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA)’s Emergency Relief Fund.
The show was streamed live from Yungblud’s YouTube page and featured appearances KSI, Renforshort, and Lil Huddy. Navarro and Lee performed alongside Yungblud during the livestream, and Lavigne performed a duet with the artist.

2021 “Life is Beautiful” Festival in Las Vegas to feature Billie Eilish, HAIM, ASAP Rocky and more

The three-day annual Life Is Beautiful Music & Art Festival in Las Vegas has announced its 2021 lineup. The 2021 festival marks a return for organizers after skipping the festivities last year due to the pandemic.
