If you’re feeling good about your year-end bonus, you won’t once you hear this.
ABC Audio has confirmed that over the past two years, Taylor Swift gave out nearly $200 million in bonuses — $197 million, to be exact — to her Eras Tour team. That includes truck drivers, the lighting and sound crew, the production staff, the merch sellers, the caterers, the instrument techs, the dancers, the security guards, the choreographers, the video team, the physical therapists, the pyro team and the hair, wardrobe and makeup teams.
In August 2023, People magazine confirmed that Taylor had given out more than $55 million in bonuses, but we haven’t had another bonus report since then. The tour ended Dec. 8 in Vancouver, Canada, after launching in May 2023.
