The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri has reached it’s capacity- and it’s not alone. A spokesperson for the shelter says shelter’s across the country are experiencing the same issue.
To remedy the issue, the shelter is hoping specials on furry friends will appeal to the residents of Springfield (and beyond) to adopt those currently in residency.
