"Smiles" for miles: Jeremy Renner posts video after a run

Disney+

Less than a year and a half after being nearly crushed to death by a 7-ton snowplow, Jeremy Renner proved he's literally up and running.

In a video posted Friday to the Marvel movie star and two-time Academy Award nominee's Instagram, he's seen jogging, laughing and happily out of breath.

"Wishing you a Happy Friday" he posted to his 21 million followers, adding, "nothing but smiles today. Feeling full of gratitude and inflammation." He followed that with a crying laughing emoji.

Renner closed with an inspirational, "Be better get Stronger everyday" and the hashtag "recoveryroad."

The Mayor of Kingstown star suffered more than 30 broken bones and other grave injuries in the snowplow accident on his Nevada property on New Year's Day 2023.

His recovery has been called miraculous. "I've lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I've been refueled and refilled with love and titanium," he told ABC News' Diane Sawyer in an exclusive interview in April of 2023, 10 weeks after the near fatal accident.

"You are truly an inspiration to not giving up!" one of Jeremy's followers said of the video, which was liked more than 11 thousand times in less than 30 minutes.

So, what's your excuse?

Fantasia Barrino would love to replace Katy Perry as 'American Idol' judge

Fantasia Barrino says she’d love to replace Katy Perry as a judge on American Idol.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight released Thursday, April 25, Fantasia said she wasn’t aware Katy was exiting the singing competition show at the end of this season, but she would be up to replace her on the panel.

“I'm gonna be honest, I would love to,” Fantasia, who won season 3 of the series 20 years ago, said. “I think that those kids, when they're coming into the game, I think that they need somebody to come in and not only show them how to sing a song, but how to handle the business because it's a lot.”

Fantasia continued by explaining how exactly she’d help the contestants strike that balance.

“Just having somebody to say, ‘Hey, make sure you have this, make sure you have that. OK, sing this song, sing that song.’ Getting to know them, their upbringing, what makes you want to sing, why do you love this, why do you want this? So, I would love to do it. I would be up for it,” Fantasia said.

Zendaya teases releasing music again "one day"

Chris Haston/Warner Bros.

Is Zendaya eying a return to music?

During her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show Friday, April 26, to promote her new movie Challengers, the actress/singer gave an update on whether she’d release a new song any time soon.

“I love music, and it’s something that’s been special to me,” she says. “I think being in the music industry, maybe it, it didn’t kill the joy of music, but it’s when you put music and business together. Sometimes it cannot feel so good.”

She adds that for the time being, she likes to keep music just for her, but she’s open to sharing some new things with the world in the future.

“You know, I think if the right timing and it came, because I like creating it for myself, but if there was a moment, maybe I would, you know, put out a little something,” she said. “Don’t get crazy! We’ll see, but maybe one day.”

Zendaya also opened up about overcoming stage fright to join Labrinth at Coachella last year. The two collaborated on 2019’s "All of Us" and 2022’s "I'm Tired" for Zendaya’s HBO show, Euphoria.

Will Taylor Swift add 'The Tortured Poets Department' to The Eras Tour?

The last time Taylor Swift performed The Eras Tour, she had not released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department. Now that the surprise double album and all 31 of its tracks are out in the world, Swifties are wondering if the pop superstar will add the new era to the set list when the tour resumes on May 9 in Paris, France.

In a new YouTube Shorts video Taylor posted on Thursday, April 25, she is seen rehearsing for The Eras Tour. The 15-second clip is set to her new single “Fortnight” and features a brief shot where Taylor stands next to a silver railing. Fans immediately noticed that the railing was in the shape of The Tortured Poets Department logo, and speculation ran rampant.

“A fortnight til Paris ... Brought to you by YouTube Shorts #ForAFortnightChallenge,” the video’s description reads.

Additionally, it seems Taylor's wearing the same shoes she dons in the “Fortnight” music video in the short clip. There also looks to be new choreography and costumes on display. Taylor’s background dancers are seen wearing top hats and dancing with canes, which have not been featured during the concert previously.

If Taylor does add the The Tortured Poets Department era to the set list, this would mark the first major change to The Eras Tour since it began in March 2023.

While Taylor has switched out a few songs here and there — namely changing the folklore section's opener from “invisible string” to “the 1” and adding “Long Live” to the Speak Now section after her version of the album was released last summer — this would be the first time she has added an entire new section to the show.

Normani drops new single “1:59,” talks debut album, 'Dopamine'

Hugo Comte

Normani’s new single, “1:59,” is finally here.

The singer dropped the sultry track, featuring Gunna, as the first taste of her debut album, Dopamine, which comes out June 14.

"When I get you alone/boy what you gon' do with it?” she sings on the chorus. “Don't talk too much, just do this sh**/Boy, what you gon' do with it?"

In a new interview with ELLE, Normani says Dopamine is a “representation of my resilience.”

Dopamine represents the highs and the lows I’ve endured,” she says. “It’s been such an emotional roller coaster … I really wanted to have a title that felt like it definitely encompassed everything that I feel I’ve been through in my journey to get to the point that I’m in right now.”

She also addressed the “false narrative” that because her album took so long to come out, that means she doesn’t care. “Nobody wants this project to come out more than me,” she says. “I think that at the end of the day, if I stand behind this wholeheartedly, it doesn’t matter what the world thinks.”

Courteney Cox shares a regret from raising her teen daughter Coco

Courteney Cox is opening up about a regret she has when it comes to how she parented her only child, daughter Coco Arquette.

Cox said on the most recent episode of the Minnie Questions podcast that she wishes she'd been a "firmer parent" to her daughter, now 19, whom she shares with ex-husband David Arquette.

The Friends actress, now 59, said that when she was a younger mom, she wasn't able to set boundaries as much as she is now.

"That's one of the things with age, I've learned to say no, I've learned to have boundaries," Cox told host and fellow actress Minnie Driver. "But earlier on, when she was a kid, or not even that many years ago, I wish I'd been a firmer parent."

Cox said she looks back at particular at times when she should have trusted her instinct to intervene.

"I wish so bad that I could have realized in the moment a way to protect Coco from things that I didn't because of my own issues, whether it was codependency or seeing her in relationships with people that I knew, this was not good," Cox said. "But I didn't want to step in, even though I knew something wasn't right, because she would get so mad at me ... you know, 'Let me deal with it mom. You don't understand.'"

Cox continued, "I should have trusted myself and I should have stepped in."

Cox was 40 when she gave birth to Coco, who she has shared publicly was conceived with the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF).

The actress also spoke with Driver about wishing she had stopped and "stayed in the moment" during each phase of her daughter's childhood. "I wish I'd held on to that a little longer," she lamented.
