Julie Baker is an Emmy Nominated Journalist who stepped away from a career in the news industry after nearly a decade at the end of 2020.

She spent nearly a year traveling, documenting various sites through North Carolina, Virginia, Missouri, and most recently Florida on her travel Vlog- Average Adventures with Julie Baker.

In September 2021, she joined the 92.9 The Beat team as the the Mid-Day host. A constant joker, she has experienced occasional viral success through her Tik Tok and Instagram accounts (@AndJulieBaker) on both.

A Missouri Native, Baker is a graduate of Missouri State University. Previously, she was an anchor reporter in Durham, North Carolina and Springfield, Missouri. Additionally, she spent two seasons as an in game host for the Springfield Cardinals.
