Taylor Swift pays tribute to Travis Kelce as he attends her May 12 Paris show

During her May 12 show in Paris, Taylor Swift subtly acknowledged her boyfriend Travis Kelce, who was in the audience for the performance, along with her pals Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.

Travis, Gigi and Bradley were caught on video by fans, swaying in the VIP section as Taylor performed, the New York Post reports.

During the show, Taylor said the crowd, "Can you believe this is our 87th show of the Eras tour?”  Fans cheered, because "87" is Travis' jersey number. On top of that, during the 1989 portion of the show, Taylor wore an outfit in the Chiefs' colors: a short red skirt and a gold crop top and boots.

According to the Post, during the show, Taylor changed the lyrics to "Karma" to "the guy on the Chiefs," as she's done in the past when Travis attended her shows. She also blew a kiss to Travis while performing the song "So High School," a song which many fans interpret as being about their romance.

And as one of her secret songs later in the show, Taylor sang "The Alchemy," another song that many believe is about Travis, given that it includes multiple football-themed references to warming the benches, trophies, cheers, chants, beer sticking to the floor, teams and "the greatest in the league."

Jerry Seinfeld commencement speech interrupted by Palestine protesters

Noam Galai/GC Images

As a comedian with decades of experience, Jerry Seinfeld can handle some hecklers — and perhaps that's why he wasn't fazed by protesters who walked out before a commencement speech he gave on Sunday, May 12.

As he was being introduced ahead of receiving an honorary degree from Duke University, the Unfrosted star and director witnessed dozens of students getting up and walking out, chanting "Free Palestine," according to footage of the event.

Jerry, who is Jewish and has been publicly supportive of Israel after the deadly Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023, was buoyed when others in attendance countered by applauding loudly and chanting "Jerry! Jerry!" during the disturbance.

After Jerry was given his ceremonial hood in honor of his contribution to the arts, he reportedly didn't address the wrinkle as he took the mic, saying, "Thank you. Oh my God, what a beautiful day."

The speech otherwise went off without a hitch, and in it, Jerry made an oblique reference to political correctness by saying, "I totally admire the ambitions of your generation to create a more just and inclusive society. I think it is also wonderful that you care so much about not hurting other people's feelings in the million and one ways we all do that every second of every day."

He added, "It's lovely to want to fix those things, but — all caps, but — what I need to tell you as a comedian: do not lose your sense of humor. You can have no idea at this point in your life how much you're going to need it to get through."

"Humor is the most powerful, most survival-essential quality you'll ever have or need to navigate though the human experience," he added, drawing applause.

New 'Princess and the Frog' Disney attraction gets opening date

Disney

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a brand-new attraction based off of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog movie will be opening at Walt Disney World Resort on June 28.

The new announcement was made on the Sunday, May 12, episode of American Idol after Jenifer Lewis, who voices Mama Odie in the original movie, sang a rendition of "Dig a Little Deeper," from the original The Princess and the Frog soundtrack.

"You’ll join Princess Tiana on an adventure through the bayou as she prepares to host a one-of-a- kind celebration during Mardi Gras season where everyone is welcome," read a Disney Parks Blog post describing the brand-new attraction. "Along the way, you will see some familiar faces, make new friends and travel through the bayou into the next chapter of Tiana’s story," the post continued.

In 2020, Disney revealed Splash Mountain at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resort would be re-themed to reflect the story of the 2009 animated hit.

Music from the bayou will also play a significant role in the new ride which features a fun twist, according to the new post.

"Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will also feature original music and some familiar tunes from the beloved movie, and so much more... including an incredibly thrilling 50-foot drop!" the tease continued.

The post also noted that Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Disneyland Park in California will also be ready to welcome visitors later this year.
