ZAYN wants you to raise a glass … without the hangover.
He’s partnered with the alcohol-free beverage brand Mixoloshe as the company’s co-owner and chief creative officer. According to the company’s website, he “stumbled upon” the brand over six months ago and even featured a can of it in the video for his song “Love Like This.”
“He saw the potential and, most importantly, believed in our mission,” says the brand, which led the former One Direction member to become “not just the face but a co-owner … bringing his creative genius to the heart of the brand.”
His first project is a new signature mocktail: a lychee martini, packaged in a can that features replicas of his tattoos. You can buy it now at Walmart, Amazon or at the Mixoloshe website.
In a statement to People, Zayn says, “The non-alcoholic beverage market is ready for disruption. We see consumers already shifting preferences towards healthier and alcohol-free alternatives, which provides an opportunity for a brand like Mixoloshe to redefine this industry.”
“I could not be more excited about the chance to make some noise in the category of non-alcoholic beverages and build one of the most talked about drinks in the world,” he adds. You can watch his ad at People.com.
