The holidays are fast approaching and Harmony House could use your help. If you are interested in providing a holiday meal to residents, they have several opportunities!! Harmony House meal groups shop for, prepare, and serve meals in shelter to residents. Have a group or club that is interested in giving back? iCare Events with Harmony House
They say domestic violence is a problem that happens behind closed doors.
Here’s a fact that blows those doors wide open – Greene County has one of the highest rates of domestic violence per capita than anywhere else in the state. We, as a community, can do better than this.
On October 28th, 2022 Harmony House is holding a public awareness event called “iCare”. Join people throughout the community who will be taking the “iCare” pledge to raise awareness of the domestic violence problem in our community and raise funds for Harmony House to help save lives.
Domestic violence is not a problem that can be kept hidden any longer. The secret is out; thousands of people in the Ozarks are trying to escape violence. On October 28 help us bring awareness to this epidemic.

We Can Still Get Some Yummy, Pineapple Whip!
You won’t see the “hula” girl but you will be able to buy “Pineapple Whip” this winter!
One of the Ozarks most favorite frozen treat is “Pineapple Whip!” Only one drawback…it’s usually only sold in the summer.
Oh sure the “Pineapple Whip” people will tease us with a one or two day operation in January, but usually its open only during the summertime months… until now!
The creamy goodness known as “Pineapple Whip” will soon be available in pints at Hy-Vee at their Battlefield and Kansas Expressway location.
Flavors up for sale will be pineapple, lemon-berry and mango-peach.
This special sale of “Pineapple Whip” pints will be available in the off-season only.
Need Holiday Help? Crossline Programs Begin Soon!
The holidays are near and Crosslines Holiday Food Toy Assistance program gets underway tomorrow, October 18 at 4pm.
The Crossline program is open to Greene County families only. If you live outside of Greene county contact your county for assistance.
To qualify for holiday assistance from Crosslines- certain requirements are to be met:
- Must be residents of Greene County
- Must provide Social Security Cards for all members of household (including children)
- Must provide a piece of mail less than 30 days old
- Household income must fall at or below USDA Poverty Scale for family size
In addition, applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:
- A school-aged or younger child (birth to 18 years) must be living in the household OR
- All members of the household must be 60 years or older OR
- All members of the household must be homebound

How To Pick The BEST Pumpkin!
This is THE weekend to grab that pumpkin. More families will be picking out their pumpkins this weekend than any other time. Freshness is the key.
Here are some tips on how to pick the best pumpkin for your family.
- Look for different kinds of pumpkins. Orange, White, off color. Find one that appeals to you.
- Go for the green stems. The greener the stem the more fresh it is.
- Listen for a deep hollow sound when you thump a pumpkin.
- Check for firmness. When pumpkins are ready to harvest the skin turns leathery and firm
- Don’t buy a pumpkin with “wounds” Scars are ok, but deep gashes are a no-go.
The 2nd Amazon Prime Day Begins Today!
For the first time EVER, Amazon is having a second Prime Day-style sale in one year. It’s called “Prime Early Access” and it starts TODAY! But a new study found Amazon sales aren’t always what they seem. Sometimes sellers just make it seem like something’s on sale by lying about the original price, so make sure to do your research before buying.

· Getting Here: The festival is located on 250 acres at the private Sugar Creek Airstrip just six minutes from Bentonville's center at 3100 Price Coffee Road, Bentonville, AR. · Picking Up Tickets? The FORMAT Box Office will be located adjacent to the main entrance of the festival.

A government-issued ID is required to verify your order and pick up tickets.Check your email! · Official Bag Policy: ALL bags will be searched before entry. Small clutch purses and fanny packs that are 4.5" x 5.5" or smaller do not need to be clear but can have no more than one pocket. All other bags must be fully clear and made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and be no larger than 12" x 12" x 6" ONLY. · Rock & Recycle: We invite attendees to join our sustainability efforts to reduce the festival’s impact on the environment by participating in recycling initiatives such as Rock & Recyle, where fans can earn a commemorative FORMAT t-shirt designed by Tyson by filling up a bag of aluminum cans from the festival grounds. Taco Pizza And Doja CatTogether Again! But this time, joined by...
It’s back!!! We’ve waited patiently for months and it returns Thursday! Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza and it’s back PERMANENTLY. Doja Cat will, of course, still be in the spotlight but this time joined by... Dolly Parton!
With the return of the Mexican Pizza on Sept. 15, it will also be the date for the long-awaited debut of “Mexican Pizza: The Musical” starring Doja Cat and Dolly Parton.
The big question is where can you watch the new musical as you eat the Mexican Pizza?! “Mexican Pizza: The Musical” will premiere on Taco Bell’s TikTok on Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. Plan to sit back, relax, eat some good food, and jam out!
